East Midlands Business & Property Show

My business networks - RSViP and WREN have both been partnered with the East midlands Business & Property Show for the best part of 8-10 years now.

We assist in the marketing of the business expo via our networks and also take part in exhibiting at the show itself throughout the day, showcasing our brands, networking and taking part in the VIP network lunch and promotional video each year.

Nottingham Racecourse

Over a period of around 7 years, my network’s RSViP and WREN Property Network were partnered with Nottingham Racecourse.

We supported their annual ladies day in May and I was asked to be head judge of the competition for ‘Best dressed’, which involved spending the day observing the fashion, encouraging entries, selecting my shortlist and taking the stage to announce the runner up’s and winners.

It was great fun, though did get very competitive!

Our company banners were also positioned inside the ring and at the finish line which was fantastic, and we had a page in their race day program and our logo’s on the front page as supporters.

Audi Nottingham-RSViP

This was a fantastic shoot at ancestral home of Lord Byron, Colwick Hall, where my business network-RSViP collaborated with Audi Nottingham for a photo shoot.

Grange Print supported the shoot by stickering up an Audi R8 and photographer Steve Edwards captured the shots.

Life & Style magazine

This was a long standing partnership, whereby I worked with the publication to run a bi-monthly directory feature for members of my network-RSViP, which encompassed our branding and allowed our members to showcase themselves through not only directory adverts, but by running exclusive offers to readers and through editorial features too.

The magazine also covered our RSViP Business Network Social events within their ‘Red carpet’ social pages too.

Sadly the publication is no longer in existence.

Citylife magazine

This was a long standing partnership, whereby I worked with the publication to run a bi-monthly directory feature for members of my network-RSViP, which encompassed our branding and allowed our members to showcase themselves through not only directory adverts, but by running exclusive offers to readers and through editorial features too.

The magazine also covered our RSViP Business Network Social events within their ‘Socialite’ social pages too.

Onify Loyalty App-RSViP

Onify is a loyalty scheme app my network RSViP collaborated with to offer our members points for every venue they visited partnered with the app.

Many of the partner venues on Onify were members of our network and we worked with the app to develop a loyalty points scheme for our members to benefit from free gifts and added value just by attending our events.

Nottingham Rugby Club

Over the years I have worked very closely with the Nottingham Rugby Club, being a close personal fan having worked a season with them in 2012 developing their corporate hospitality, marketing and PR.

Since then my business network RSViP has collaborated with the club to host adhoc networking events within their corporate hospitality against their seasonal games with the intention of providing a platform for business professionals from our network to connect and network with sponsors of the club.

King of the Ring

This was a one off huge boxing event in Nottingham, where I worked with the organisers to host the VIP area which was red roped off- I worked with the security team on the evening to manage the guest list and hand out wrist bands.

I was also asked to interview some of the boxers, which resulted in a conversation with Carl Froch over the telephone following the match.

Festival of Enterprise

In 2019 I teamed up with the Festival of Enterprise in Birmingham as a strategic networking partner.

The business show was held at the NEC and housed hundreds of business networks and events organisations, with interactive sessions taking place throughout the day as well as an exhibition to which I took part in.
